Flare Street

Flare Street is an Australian made label with an emphasis on flares and bell bottoms. Pulling a lot of influence from the 1970's, they are a zero-waste, closed loop, circular label made sustainably in Melbourne.

Founded in Melbourne (Naarm) in 2013, Flare Street is dedicated to spreading the perfect bell-bottoms worldwide. Born out of a passion for 1960s and 70s counterculture, the brand reimagines the iconic retro flare into high-quality, flattering garments designed to celebrate individuality.
Flare Street is an independent Australian fashion label that's deeply committed to a 100% on-shore production model, operating as a closed-loop, zero-waste studio. The brand champions local industry by utilising locally sourced, locally printed, and deadstock fabrics, while partnering with Melbourne makers to mitigate textile waste. Flare Street represents a harmonious blend of nostalgia, Australian craftsmanship, and progressive ethics, partnering with a textile recycling plant, paying the rent, utilising waterless production, and using only biodegradable packaging.
Having shown at NYFW and LFW, and featured in Vogue UK, Glamour and Tatler, Flare Street has a global following, catering for every gender and created with deep local roots. For 13 years, the label has championed the sustainability of Australia’s independent fashion community, and is passionately transitioning into using exclusively natural and recycled fibres.
