Founded with a passion for the Australian alpine lifestyle, Kunama The Label is dedicated to elevating women’s technical apparel through superior material science and intentional design. We specialise in base layers and mid-layers crafted from 100% Australian merino wool, specifically engineered at 18.5 microns and 240 gsm. This ensures our garments provide a luxurious, "zero-itch" feel while maintaining the high-performance thermal regulation and moisture-wicking properties required for intense mountain activity.

Sustainability and traceability are at the core of our brand identity. Our collections are Woolmark and RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) certified, ensuring that every piece is produced with respect for animal welfare and land management. We have intentionally moved away from the muted tones typical of technical gear, opting instead for a bold, vibrant colour palette that celebrates the energy of the snow community.

Based in Sydney with strong ties to the Snowy Mountains, we are actively expanding our reach through strategic collaborations with local athletes and instructors. As we look toward the 2026/2027 season, our focus is on scaling our direct-to-consumer model and establishing a footprint in the North American market, continuing to champion Australian merino wool as the gold standard for global alpine fashion.
