The largest-ever international presentation of Victorian fashion is set to showcase in Hong Kong this December as part of Hong Kong Business of Design Week (HK BoDW), Asia’s premier design event!
The Victorian Government, through Creative Victoria, is supporting the mission to promote local fashion into a global marketplace. The ‘Melbourne Fashion Showcase’ will see over 50 Victorian designers, including several of our AFC Members and 7 designers from our AFC Curated program!

WHERE | 7 Mallory Street, Wan Chai, Hong Kong
AFC CURATED | The showroom will feature the latest collections from 7 Melbourne based labels; A.BCH, Gehrich, Guerilla Theatre Brand, Lois Hazel, MAUDE Studio, Mndatory and Vincent Li. The space will celebrate Melbourne design, from locally sourced and made, to bespoke tailoring, to sustainably minded textiles, to hand embellishments and artist collaborations. MORE HERE >>
RECOGNITION | a First Peoples Fashion Exhibition, will feature the work of six designers and a fashion film, curated and produced by Melbourne based creative director Philip Boon, and shot in Hong Kong by award-winning film and animation director Helen Clemens.
WE ARE LUXURY | An exhibition of nearly 40 leading artisans and makers, who represent a ‘new luxury’, born in Melbourne. Handpicked by creative stylist Virginia Dowzer, designers such as Martin Grant, Toni Maticevski, Jason Grech and Linda Jackson will be on show.
SO, WHAT IS FASHION? | RMIT University’s School of Fashion and Textiles, will present their exhibition, ‘Fashion territories; so, what is fashion?’ from their Bachelor of Fashion (Design) (Honours) and Master of Fashion (Design) program students.
GREAT SOUTHERN STYLE | Kangan Institute and the Textile and Fashion Hub will present the exhibition ‘Great Southern Style – Mindful Australian Design’ showcasing its design and millinery prowess.
