We’re thrilled to continue to be part of an initiative supporting Australia’s emerging designers during these tumultuous times. Now, more than ever, support and recognition of Australia’s creative talent is crucial, not only for the success of the designers involved, but also in shaping our industry and how it recovers on the other side of this crisis.
— Leila Hibri, CEO, Australian Fashion Council

The award was first established in 2013 (under the BT brand) with the goal of identifying Australia’s emerging designers and providing financial support and business mentoring. NAGNATA joins the ranks of Australian fashion labels to take home the coveted fashion design award, including; Blair Archibald (2019), Albus Lumen (2018), Kacey Devlin (2017), macgraw (2016), Emma Mulholland (2015), Michael Lo Sordo (2014) and Christopher Esber (2013).
