Official Notice of AGM

Australian Fashion Council (AFC) 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) 

Notice is hereby given that the Australian Fashion Council (AFC) will hold its 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) online on Thursday, 11th December 2025 at 1:00pm AEDT.

The Board has determined the meeting will be conducted via Zoom webinar, with live voting on the resolutions facilitated by TrueVote. Members unable to attend may vote by proxy, with forms required to be submitted no later than 1:00pm Wednesday, 10th December 2025 (24 hours prior to the meeting).

The AFC Board encourages all members to attend and participate in this year’s meeting, which will provide an opportunity to:

• Receive the Executive Chair’s Report
• Receive the FY25 Financial Report
• Vote on the re-election of Board Directors; and
• Vote on the adoption of the proposed new Constitution.

AGM Information
Date: Thursday, 11th December 2025
Time: 1:00pm - 3:00pm AEDT
Format: Virtual webinar via Zoom. Live voting facilitated by TrueVote. Voting by proxy is permitted.

AGM Registration
Members are encouraged to register in advance by Tuesday, 9th December 2025, however, registrations will remain open until the start of the AGM.

Voting & Proxies

• Eligibility: Only financial members recorded on the AFC member register at the date of this notice are entitled to vote. Any outstanding membership fees must be paid before voting.
• Voting rights: Each registered member organisation is entitled to one (1) vote only.
• Proxy voting: Members who are unable to attend may appoint a proxy to vote on their behalf. Proxy forms must be received no later than 1:00pm (AEDT) on Wednesday, 10th December 2025 (24 hours prior to the meeting). 
• Live voting: Eligible attendees may vote in real time during the AGM via TrueVote. Valid proxy votes received by the deadline will be included in the final tally.

Member Information Sessions
To support members’ understanding of the proposed Constitution and voting process, we will host two short online Information Session as per the below schedule.

Please register for your preferred session using the links below.  As each session will cover the same content, attendance at one session only is required. Once registered, you will receive a Zoom calendar invitation with full access details.
