AFC Academy

The New Rules for Global Trade

AFC Academy is our new education platform, delivering practical, industry-led training that builds the skills, knowledge and capability of Australian fashion and textile businesses to compete, comply and grow in an increasingly complex global market.

Our first course, The New Rules for Global Trade, is a four-week short course with a headline focus on the most pressing issues facing Australian brands that already sell, source or plan to sell offshore. It cuts through complex requirements and turns them into clear, practical steps businesses can apply straight away.

Delivered in partnership with The Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Fashion + Textiles (UTS + TAFE NSW) and Ndless: The New Normal, and supported by the City of Sydney, the course includes:
- Live weekly sessions
- Self-paced learning on UTS Open
- Guest expert speakers
- A certificate of completion
- A closing in-person event to connect with your cohort and the wider industry
