The AFC is looking for a Social Media and Digital Communications Specialist with a passion for the Australian fashion and textiles industry.

Are you passionate about social media and digital marketing?

The AFC is looking for a Social Media and Digital Communications Specialist with a love for the Australian fashion and textiles industry. Located in Melbourne or Sydney, you’ll be joining our talented team to help drive demand for Australian fashion locally and globally, and support AFC members with content on our website and social channels.

Working four days per week, you’ll be responsible for the Australian Fashion Council (AFC) and Australian Fashion Trademark social media platforms and websites. You’ll develop and publish content on our digital platforms and proactively collect, analyse and draw insights from data to consistently improve the audience experience. Creative, innovative, passionate and user focused, you will drive best practice in social media, website and digital communications.

To be successful, you’ll need tertiary qualifications in communications, media, marketing or a related discipline and two or more years’ experience in a relevant social media, digital or marketing role with responsibility for planning, developing and publishing digital content. You’ll have an aptitude for technology and a data-driven mindset. An ability to draw insights from data to inform decision making is a must.
