AFC Flagship continued at Emporium Melbourne this July 2019. The program from the Australian Fashion Council collaborates with prestigious retail centres to provide pop-up spaces for Australian labels to host their own ‘Flagship’ store, creating unique opportunities for consumers to experience local design, shop the labels and meet the designers in person. Thanks to the ongoing support from Vicinity Centres, we were thrilled to have the iconic Tasmanian based brand Waverley Mills take over!

MEET | WAVERLEY MILLS

Waverley Mills is luxury, quality, sustainability. As Australia’s oldest working textile mill (established in 1874), they produce designer wool products that are guaranteed to last, beautifully and carefully crafted, and ethically produced.

Starting with the essentials: the finest quality wool, alpaca, mohair and cotton. Then they use only the most skilled artisan craftsmanship bolstered by the latest in sustainable practices to produce iconic blankets, rugs, throws, scarves, and clever recycled blankets.
