van Ermel Scherer (VES) is a premium Aboriginal-owned swimwear and resortwear label founded by Verity van Ermel Scherer, a proud Larrakia woman. Rooted in legacy and cultural storytelling, VES defines a new vision of Australian luxury, merging heritage, craftsmanship, and contemporary design.

Each collection is produced in limited runs using premium fabrics selected for their quality, comfort, and longevity. Every piece reflects Verity’s commitment to timeless design, garments that embody strength, identity, and sophistication while celebrating individuality and connection to place.

Inspired by her grandmother and mother, both Stolen Generations survivors, VES honours matriarchal strength and the beauty of cultural resilience. The label represents both a personal legacy and a broader movement toward authentic representation within the fashion industry.

Based on Dharawal Country, VES collaborates with Aboriginal creatives across photography, modelling, and storytelling, ensuring culture is represented and celebrated at every level of creation.
